Banners

Four builds, chosen against wind and mounting surface before appearance. A solid banner on an exposed fence acts as a sail and will tear or pull its fixings out, which is exactly the problem mesh exists to solve. Filter by where the banner is going.

How to choose
between them

Wind decides this category. Solid scrim vinyl is the standard and the right answer on a wall or a fence panel where there is nothing to catch. On open fencing, scaffolding or a building face, mesh lets a large share of the wind through and stays up where a solid banner would not. The small loss of color density is worth it against a banner on the ground. Where there is no hardware at all, adhesive-backed material mounts flat to glass or a stage front.

How it is fixed matters as much as what it is made of. Hems are structural rather than decorative: an unhemmed edge is where wind gets in and works the banner apart. Grommet spacing matters more than grommet count. Too few concentrates the entire load on two or three points. Tell us the dimensions, what it fixes to and whether it is exposed, and those three answers settle material, hem and spacing together.
